Anna Fabrello graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, in professor Brygida Skiba’s class. During her academic education, she was a holder of the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Since 2005 she has been a soloist of the Baltic Opera and Assistant Lecturer at the Academy of Music.
Anna Fabrello participated in several vocal courses with Rolando Panerai, Francesco Ghitti, Katia Ricciarelli, Renata Scotto, Helena Łazarska, and Ryszard Karczykowski. During her studies she took part in many important events and concerts organized by the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and The Baltic Sea Culture Centre, including Polish premiere of Johan Roman’s „Then Svenska Messan” (The Swedish Mass, Sopot 2002, Sweden 2003), and Pehrl Frigels’ „Kantata na Wniebowstąpienie”, accompanied by Camerata Roman orchestra, conducted by Michel Sager. The latter performance was recorded and released on CD.
In 2003 she received the honorable mention, as well as the special award from Polish Radio Program Two for her performance at „Konkurs Polskiej Piesni Artystycznej” (Polish Art Song Contest) in Warsaw.
Her debut in the Baltic Opera took place in 2004, when she performed as Serpina in G.B. Pergolesi’s „La Serva Padrona”, directed by Dorota Kolak.
During her career she performed such opera and operetta parts as: Eurydice (Gluck’s „Orpheus and Eurydice”), Cleopatra (Handel’s Giulio „Cesare”), Romilda (Handel’s „Serse”), Serpina (Pergolesi’s „La Serva Padrona”), Sekretarka („Vademecum młodej sekretarki”, based on „La Serva Padrona”), Zofia (Moniuszko’s „Halka”), Hanna (Moniuszko’s „The Haunted Manor”), Zerlina (Mozart’s „Don Giovanni”), Susanna, Marcellina (Mozart’s „The Marriage of Figaro”), Sylva (Kalman’s „Die Csárdásfürstin” (The Riviera Girl)), Musetta (Puccini’s „La boheme”), Liu (Puccini’s „Turandot”), Arsena, Saffi (J. Strauss’ „The Gypsy Baron”), Naiad (R. Strauss’ „Ariadne auf Naxos”). So far she has performed under such conductors as Jose Maria Florencio, Bohdan Jarmołowicz, Tadeusz Kozłowski, Wojciech Michniewski, Mieczysław Nowakowski, Janusz Przybylski, Wojciech Rajski, Jacek Rogala, Andrzej Straszyński, Michel Sager, Maciej Figas.
In 2009, she took part in the coproduction of the Baltic Opera and TV Mezzo, singing the part of Naiad in R. Strauss’ „Ariadne auf Naxos” at the Opera Festival in Szeged, Hungary.
She performs oratorio and cantata repertoire, as well as vocal lyric poetry both in Poland and abroad. Her artistic work can be found on numerous CD and DVD recordings.
